Welcome to the Fluvanna County Parks & Recreation homepage! Please use the following pages to locate one of our many activities, parks, facilities or programs. We offer a wide variety of activities from youth sports to dog obedience. FCPR emphasizes on connecting with the community and strengthening of family and friends through the activities we offer.

Our mission is to promote opportunities for all residents to pursue safe and enjoyable leisure activities in balance with the protection and conservation of Fluvanna's natural resources. We are committed to working cooperatively in the development of our programs and amenities to identify and meet the needs of our citizens. We invite you to become an active partner with us as we strive to improve the quality of life for all Fluvanna County residents through the pursuit of quality leisure services. 


Fluvanna County Museum at Pleasant Grove Park

A Fluvanna County treasure, the Pleasant Grove House, has now been restored and expanded in a mutual effort by Fluvanna County, the Fluvanna Historical Society and the Fluvanna Heritage Trail Foundation. "This project has taken many years of planning and cooperation between our local government and Fluvanna's non-profit organizations, and it is a major addition to accomplishing one of our primary goals-celebrating our heritage and inviting others to enjoy it," said Mozell Booker, Chair of the Fluvanna Board Supervisors.

Trails will be Closed to Horses

  • Saturday, All Day on October 4th and October 11th from 6 am to 11 am

Pleasant Grove Park trails will be closed to horses All Day on October 4th and October 11th from 6 am to 11 am  due to the Old Farm Day  and the Apple Harvest Festival events taking place these weekends. Thanks for your cooperation

  • Tuesday 5:00pm-9:00pm (Open play Volleyball)
  • Wednesday 3:00pm-5:30pm (After school Tae Kwon Do)
  • Thursday 5:00pm-9:00pm (Open play Basketball)
