The Hudson Henry Baking Co. started as a family business and is located in Palmyra. It proudly bakes, packages and ships all its granola using the best ingredients such as rolled oats, pumpkin seeds, organic coconut chips, pecans, cashews, real maple syrup, olive oil, coconut, brown sugar, and sea salt. The products can be ordered online or purchased at several local stores.

Lake Monticello playgrounds are located at the Ashlawn Park (41 Ashlawn Blvd), Lafayette Park (17 Lafayette Dr), and Bunker Playground (13 Bunker Blvd). Open to Lake Monticello residents and their guests.

The Monticello Area Community Action Agency (MACAA)’s Fluvanna office operates a large Thrift Shop (and a large Food Pantry) in conjunction with the Fluvanna Christian Service Society. The Thrift Shop is located in the Carysbrook Complex.
