Welcome to the Fluvanna County Parks & Recreation homepage!  To locate one of our many activities, parks, facilities or programs use the links on the left side of your screen in green. We offer a wide variety of activities from youth sports to dog obedience. FCPR emphasizes on connecting with the community and strengthening of family and friends through the activities we offer.

Our mission is to promote opportunities for all residents to pursue safe and enjoyable leisure activities in balance with the protection and conservation of Fluvanna's natural resources. We are committed to working cooperatively in the development of our programs and amenities to identify and meet the needs of our citizens. Tuesday- 17 & Under Basketball 6-9pm

Wednesday & Saturday- Pickleball 6-9pm

Online Registration!

Residents can now register online for Fluvanna County Parks and Recreation programs, events and activities.  Residents can also use Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards for online and in person registrations.  Allowing people to register online and to use credit cards will make it easier and more convenient for residents to enjoy the many wonderful programs offered by Parks and Recreation.

Residents can register online by visiting https://fluvanna.recdesk.com. Residents will be required to create a family profile, a username and a password.  Once registered, you will have access to sign up for any class or program we offer.  Any person with any questions can call 434-589-2016 or 434-842-3150.

Pleasant Grove House Museum & Visitor Center

(FREE Admission)

Visitors can tour the 1854 home, browse the exhibit galleries, or visit our reading room to learn more about Fluvanna's history.

Monday to Friday from 8 am-5 pm

Saturday from 9 am-6 pm

Sunday from 9 pm-6 pm

The facility hours of operation vary from season to season so please call us at 434-589-2016 for more information or to schedule a group visit.

A joint effort by the Broadcast Group of the Lake Monitcello Owners Association, Fluvanna High School's media students and faculty, Fluvanna County Parks and Recreation, and the Fluvanna Historical Society has produced a  video illustrating the process involved in restoring and expanding the County's historic Pleasant Grove House and providing information on its history and architecture. The film is entitled, "The House at Pleasant Grove."
