UPDATED INFORMATION - TJHD Hosts Free COVID-19 Testing Clinic - READ CAREFULLY

The Thomas Jefferson Health District (TJHD) will host a free COVID-19 drive-through testing clinic this Saturday, April 25th in Palmyra for symptomatic individuals that live in the greater-Fluvanna area (like Buckingham and Louisa). People must call in advance to be screened to determine eligibility for testing and to schedule an appointment.

When: Saturday, April 25th
Time: By appointment only (see details below)
What: Drive-through COVID-19 testing 
Where: Central Elementary School, 3340 Central Plains Road, Palmyra, VA. There will be signs and law enforcement direction.
Who can get tested: Individuals who:

• Symptomatic (experiencing COVID-19 symptoms like fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat)
• Age 18+

How to schedule an appointment: 

• People must call to schedule an appointment for testing. Appointments must be scheduled by NOON on Friday, April 24th. No one will be tested without an appointment.
• Call 434-972-6261 (open from 8am-4:30pm). People will be screened to determine if testing is necessary and then TJHD will schedule the testing time slot. Information about testing details will be provided over the phone. If no one answers, leave a voicemail and someone will call you back in the order that your message was received. 

• Additional screening will also be done over phone to determine testing eligibility. 

Important to note:

• Testing is LIMITED. 
• Testing will be scheduled as first call, first scheduled. We will respond to voicemails in order they are received.
