Burn Building Design-Build Project

The County of Fluvanna has received a grant  award from the Virginia Department of Fire Programs (“VDFP”) for the construction of a new Burn Building as a prop to assist in training the fire service for the Fluvanna area. Pursuant to this Request for Qualifications, the County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to assist in the development of plans and specifications and for construction of a Prototype II, Class B Burn Building.

This RFQ is Step I in the County’s two-step competitive negotiation process for a design-build project and will determine which Offerors are qualified to receive the Request for Proposal, being the second stage in the competitive negotiation process.
