#4090- SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR

The County of Fluvanna, Parks & Recreation Department is seeking to fill openings for summer Parks & Recreation camp counselors. This position is responsible for implementing the summer camp program by actively supervising, instructing, and engaging youth participants in daily activities.

Eligible candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Virginia driver's license with a clean driving record. Applicants must be able to work outdoors for up to 10 hours per day. Prior camp counselor or youth group leadership experience is preferred.

Schedule will vary between 20 - 39 hours/week. Camps operate from May 28, 2019 through August 2, 2019. Salary starting at $11.32 per hour (without benefits), DOQ.
Counselors are required to attend a one-day orientation on May 24, 2019.
