Benefit Programs Specialist I-Fluvanna County Social Services

Benefit Programs Specialist I:  Interviews applicants and determines eligibility for benefits such as SNAP, Medicaid, and other programs in the Social Services agency. 

Candidate must be reliable and possess excellent customer service skills, communication skills, writing skills, organizational skills, and analytical skills with the ability to apply complex policy to determine qualifications for financial assistance. 

High School diploma or equivalency required.  Salary range is $33,387 - $40,000 (commensurate with experience).
