Unlike larger agencies, officers and deputies in Fluvanna County get a chance to investigate some of their own cases and follow them from the initial report to the courtroom. The County offers opportunities for training and certifications; Patrol, Court Services, Civil Process, Criminal Investigations, bicycle and motorcycle patrol. Deputies also get opportunities for increased community involvement and have time to develop community relationships.
Salary starting at:
Non-VA DCJS Certified Deputy: $17.14 /HR. (Annually $37,440) + benefits.
Depending On Qualifications.
VA DCJS Certified Deputy: $18.00 /HR. (Annually $39,312) + benefits.
