Recreation Program Specialist - 4111 - Parks and Recreation

The County of Fluvanna, VA is seeking a full-time Recreation Program Specialist.  Duties include, but not limited to: Senior Services, Therapeutic Recreation programs for youths and adults, and Special Events.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will bring experience in recreation program planning and implementation.  The candidate must be able to work a varied schedule, including some evenings and weekends. The position requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and must have a current VA driver’s license and be able to drive between off site locations. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Driving and Criminal History Background check required.

Hiring Range: $12.60 per hour (annual $26,208) - $14.49 ($30,139) plus benefits, DOQ. Position open until filled.
