FAMILY SERVICES SPECIALIST III:  Responsibilities are to provide supportive and protective services to families, children, and adults; maintain up-to-date knowledge in all service program areas.  The Family Services Specialist III specializes in program areas and assumes more complex duties.  Bachelor degree in human services field or Bachelor degree in any field with two years of human services experience required.  Salary:  $38,188 minimum (salary commensurate with experience).  All state applications must be submitted online at 

HUMAN SERVICES ASSISTANT III:  Performs receptionist and office duties, provides assistance to clients, and provides administrative support to the benefits and services teams. 

The Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office, under the Fluvanna Safe Community Initiative, will reach out to local businesses to help build a safer environment for both the employee and the consumer.  The program is built around three different elements which consist of written policies involving the response to emergencies, employee training, and environmental design principals.  This program will also promote direct communication with the sheriff’s office.
