Victim's Assistance

If you have been the victim of a crime in Fluvanna County you can contact the Victim/Witness Assistant Program at the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office at (434) 591-1985.  The Victim/Witness coordinator at the office is a Sherri Stader.

Crimes Against A Person

The Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office takes seriously all criminal acts against persons and supports victim’s rights organizations. Furthermore, the Sheriff’s Office highly recommends that victims of assault contact local and state agencies for support and guidance to assist them during difficult times. Fluvanna Students Awarded Sheriff’s Institute Scholarships

Fluvanna County Sheriff Eric B. Hess presented Erica Weaver and Crista Elliott each with a check for $1,000 for both students to pursue degrees in criminal justice.
