Fork Union Sanitary District Rate Changes ***** Effective July 1st, 2024 ******
********* PLEASE BE ADVISED OF RATE CHANGE, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2024 *******

Dear Utility Customer,
On June 20, 2024 Board of Supervisors approved the rate increase for the Fork Union Sanitary
District Water Rates and Charges, which means that rates and charges are increasing from $21.00 to
$24.00 dollars a month for the first 2,000 gallons minimum charge. For each additional 1,000
gallons after the first 2,000 gallons the rate will increase from $11.00 to $11.22. These rate
changes will take effect on your August water bill.
Please note that the last rate increase was in July of 2014. All proceeds from your water usage and
patronage are used solely for the operation and maintenance of the Fork Union Sanitary District
