Fluvanna County, Virginia, is seeking a full-time Financial Services Technician.  Under the regular supervision of the Deputy County Administrator / Director of Finance, the Financial Services Technician is responsible for vendor set-up/maintenance, reviewing all invoices, preparing and processing accounts payable, preparing year-end 1099 tax reporting and other financial recordkeeping processes of the County.  The ideal candidate will need to have excellent customer service skills, be able to respond to questions regarding inquiries, research and resolve problems, prepare reports, reconcil

The mission of the Fluvanna County Purchasing Department is to ensure that the County and its citizens receive the highest quality and best price for all goods and services through a competitive procurement process. In addition, it is the intent of the Purchasing Department to protect the assets and funds of Fluvanna County while maintaining a high-level of Procurement and Business Ethics that have been established by the Fluvanna County Procurement Policy and the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA).
