#1330 Financial Services Specialist

The County of Fluvanna is recruiting for the position of a Financial Services Specialist

This is a full-time position that performs a variety of tasks involving a thorough understanding and experience involving the processing, reconciling, and maintenance of County payrolls, accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, journal entries, and related records.

Essential duties include but are not limited to:  

The Financial Services Specialist is responsible for preparing the bi-weekly payroll, preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end tax reporting, processing employee benefits, managing the EMS Cost Recovery Program, and other financial recordkeeping processes of the County. 

The ideal candidate will need to be able to respond to questions regarding payroll deductions and other billing inquiries, research and resolve problems, prepare billing reconciliations and reports, as well as assist in other financial functions.

The expected hiring range is $20.39 to $23.45 hr. Depending on qualifications
