FAMILY SERVICES SPECIALIST III:  Responsibilities are to provide supportive and protective services to families, children, and adults; maintain up-to-date knowledge in all service program areas.  The Family Services Specialist III specializes in program areas and assumes more complex duties.  Bachelor degree in human services field or Bachelor degree in any field with two years of human services experience required. 

Salary:  $38,188 minimum (salary commensurate with experience). 

Candidate must be reliable and demonstrate excellent customer service.  Duties include but are not limited to general office work, administrative support, receptionist duties, data entry, and the handling of confidential information. 

Must possess the following skills:  organization, time management, computer, communication, mathematical, and writing.  High School diploma or equivalency supplemented with related clerical experience required. 

SALARY: $16.35 TO $20.44 Hourly rate/Rate is negotiable depending on qualifications

DEEP CREEK ROAD CLOSED APRIL 3 FOR PIPE REPLACEMENT

Fluvanna County road closed to through traffic; use alternate routes

CULPEPER — Route 629 (Deep Creek Road) in Fluvanna County will be closed to through traffic April 3 while crews replace a pipe located about 0.3-mile west of Route 631 (Dogwood Drive).

The road will be closed between Route 630 (Hollands Road) and Route 631. The pipe work is located west of the ongoing project to replace the bridge over Middle Fork Kent Branch.
