PUBLIC NOTICE

THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION FOR THE COUNTY OF FLUVANNA

Purpose: Advises the Planning Commission and the governing body, and assists in creating, reviewing, modifying, continuing or terminating districts within the County. In particular, the committee shall render expert advice as to the nature of farming and forestry, and agricultural and forestal resources within the district and their relation to the entire County. Land being considered for inclusion in a district may be evaluated by the advisory committee and the planning commission through the Virginia Land Evaluation and Site Assessment (LESA) System.

The Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors is requesting sealed proposals from qualified firms to perform reassessment services on real properties located within Fluvanna County.  The firm shall have the necessary expertise in the field of property reassessment services.

Members shall advise the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Board of Supervisors on the planning and development of a comprehensive system of parks and recreation services for the benefit of the citizens of Fluvanna County.  Members also serve as a liaison between the Parks and Recreation Director, the Board of Supervisors and the citizens of the county.
