Services:

Purpose: The purpose of the CARE Task Force is to advise, assist, support, and advocate for positive change and renewal efforts in the Columbia area.  The Task Force will prepare a report of proposed actions for consideration by the Board of Supervisors.

The CARE Task Force was chartered by the Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors in July 2017.  In collaboration with County staff and other local agencies, the Task Force shall develop a list of proposed action steps to:

Benefit Programs Specialist I:  Interviews applicants and determines eligibility for benefits such as SNAP, Medicaid, and other programs in the Social Services agency.
