Events

Our agency gets lots of information, but we are asking you for more. To help us better plan for Sheriff's Office staffing, traffic control, emergency services staffing and any other County or safety needs, please take a moment to tell us about any special events that you will be hosting in Fluvanna County. It could be any event, big or small, i.e. family reunion, funeral, church bazaar, sporting tournament, et cetera. 

Is food being served? If so, permits may be required by the Va Department of Health (VDH). More information can be found here.

Is alcohol available at this event? If so, permits may be required by the Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC). More information can be found here.

Is there entertainment or music at your event?  If so, permits will be needed per Sec. 7-1-3 of the County code. - Special entertainment permit-No person shall stage, promote or conduct any musical or entertainment festival in the unincorporated areas of the County unless there shall have been first obtained from the board a special entertainment permit for such festival.
