Instructions for Resident Engagement During Meeting

In order to comply with Governor Northam’s directive to limit gatherings to fewer than ten people, and to maintain physical distancing in an effort to avoid spreading COVID-19, the April 8, 2020 Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors Meeting/Public Hearing on the FY21 Budget & CY20 Tax Rate, will be closed to public attendance.

The Board of Supervisors meeting will be livestreamed on the County's YouTube Channel so that the public may watch the meeting.

Residents wishing to make comment regarding the FY21 Operating Budget &CY20 Tax Rate will have several options for engagement.

During the Public Hearing:

Beginning at 6:45pm, residents may call a live conference call line.

• Access #: 15855270# (You must enter the # key.)
• When you join the call, your phone line will automatically be muted. When it is time for Public Comment, callers will be unmuted one at a time (you will hear a voice say something like "Mute off.") The Board Chair will then ask for your name and address, and you will have 3 minutes to speak.

Comments regarding the FY21 Operating Budget & CY20 Tax Rate will be will be received until 5:00pm, Sunday, April 12, 2020 and will added to the Official Record of the meeting.
