BOS Meeting December 11, 2019 - Important Information About Location

Board of Supervisors to hold meeting at Central Elementary School Auditorium

December 6, 2019

Because of high attendance and participation at the December 4, 2019 Board of Supervisors Meeting, the Board adjourned the December 4, 2019 meeting until 6:00pm, Wednesday, December 11, 2019.

School activities will take place until 6:00pm; in order to respect the rights of the students, parents, and staff of Central Elementary, the Board would like to make the public aware that:

• School is in session until 3:10pm. Buses will be departing the school until approximately 3:45pm and there will be no public parking in the bus loop parking lot until after all buses have departed;
• Extended Education will be in operation until 6:00pm; parking will be limited in the lot immediately in front of the school until after the meeting has begun in order to facilitate unobstructed pick up of students;
• A student pick up lane will be sectioned off and Sheriff's Deputies will be on site for assistance;
• Additional parking is available at either end of West Central/Central Elementary, across Central Plains Road, and at the Middle School;
• State Code prohibits carrying firearms within 1000 feet of a school;
• Doors will open at 5:00pm.

In order to facilitate a well-organized meeting, tables will be set up outside of the Central Elementary School main entrance.

• Comment Cards/Speaker Sign up will be available;
• If you previously completed a comment card, sent a message through My Two Cents, or addressed the Board at the meeting on Dec 4th, your comments and opinions have been heard/reviewed by the Board and it is not necessary to complete another card; however, anyone may address the Board at the Dec 11th meeting.
