The Fluvanna County Building Inspections Office is located in the County Administration Building in the Village of Palmyra. Services offered include building permits, land disturbing permits, zoning permits, and the related inspections.

The Building Official and the Building Inspector will be in the office between the hours of 7:30-9:00am and 3:00-4:30pm Monday through Friday, except holidays. If you need an appointment at another time, please call in advance to schedule.

Inspections are required to be requested at least one day in advance in order to schedule an inspection. Inspections will be done between the hours of 9:30am and 3:00pm. Inspection times maybe requested but cannot be guaranteed. Every effort will be made to complete inspections for the requested date and time.
