Inspection Information and Requirements

 

All inspections must be scheduled 24 hours in advance and/or the business day before by 4:30 pm

 

All inspections must be scheduled by the PERMIT HOLDER OR THEIR AUTHORIZED AGENT

 

YOU MUST HAVE THE PERMIT NUMBER OR ADDRESS TO SCHEDULE YOUR INSPECTIONS

 

 

REQUIRED  MINIMUM INSPECTIONS:

 

 

The following minimum inspections shall be conducted by the building official when applicable to the construction or permit:

 

Inspection of footing excavations and reinforcement material for concrete footings prior to the placement of concrete.

 

Inspection of foundation systems during phases of construction necessary to assure compliance with this code. Damproofing and Draintile for basement construction prior to backfill

 

Inspection of preparatory work prior to the placement of concrete.(basement slab, garage slab)

 

Inspection of structural members and fasteners prior to concealment. (Framing Inspection)

 

Inspection of electrical, mechanical, gas (interior or exterior) and plumbing materials, equipment and systems prior to concealment. Include Electrical Service if applicable

 

Inspection of energy conservation material prior to concealment. (Insulation)

 

Chimney Inspection if applicable

 

Water and Sewer Lines if on public system

 

Final inspection
