These are seasonal positions that operate approximately from June 2, 2025, through August 8, 2025.

The Fluvanna County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office seeks a full-time Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney.  

Duties will include, among others:  preparing and prosecuting all cases in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court; preparing and prosecuting cases in General District and Circuit Courts, when requested; conferring with law enforcement, the victim/witness director, victims and witnesses to prepare cases; performing legal research and writing; assisting in the training of law enforcement officers and school officials, and facilitating meetings of the SART and MDT.

The County of Fluvanna, Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a part-time senior center rec aide that will work primarily in the Centers located in Fork Union, Cunningham, Troy, and Kents Store. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Active Seniors and Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator. Work will primarily be as a senior center recreation aide, but may be called to assist at other venues as needed.

The County of Fluvanna, VA Registrar’s Office is seeking Temporary Part-Time Registrar Clerks to operate the Early Voting Precinct, which is 45 days before each Election.

Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for a Full-time Emergency Communication’s Officer.  Job duties include but are not limited to answering, classifying, and dispatching emergency and non-emergency phone calls, using radios systems and multiple computer systems simultaneously.  A successful candidate would have the ability to multi-task, work as a team, and be willing to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, holidays, occasional overtime, and be subject to call-backs.
