Lake Monticello playgrounds are located at the Ashlawn Park (41 Ashlawn Blvd), Lafayette Park (17 Lafayette Dr), and Bunker Playground (13 Bunker Blvd). Open to Lake Monticello residents and their guests.

Totes McGoats Body Soaps offers local made soap, lotion, bath bombs, body butter, lip balm, deodorant, face lotion, and dog shampoo.  No water is used to make the soap, only fresh goats milk from a local small herd. 

113. Get your thrift on at the MACAA Thrift Shop.

The Monticello Area Community Action Agency (MACAA)’s Fluvanna office operates a large Thrift Shop (and a large Food Pantry) in conjunction with the Fluvanna Christian Service Society. The Thrift Shop is located in the Carysbrook Complex.

112. Take a water aerobics class or sassy dance class with Angell Husted.

Angell Husted is the founder, owner, director, and instructor (among others) who teach dance classes in classical ballet, tap, lyrical dance, power Pilates 50+, and Movement for Parkinson's.  In addition, she teaches water aerobics at the Lake Monticello pool in the the summers.

111. Take a stroll on the Rail Trail.

Join a guided walk above the Rivanna River or take a leisurely stroll on your own.

110. Pick up a gift or decoration from the Fork Union Pharmacy.

At Fork Union Pharmacy, aside from the pharmacy, you will find gift cards, many items for gift giving, including home decor including local brands, silk flowers, jewelry, and wooden signs with with special messages.
