FCPR has partnered with these organizations to help market their programs and get you accurate information. Please contact the appropriate organization you are interested in signing up your child for.

Take home a piece of local art and a treat from the Sweet Art Emporium.

With over 50 local artisans producing unique works of art or crafting tasty candies, the Sweet Art Emporium is the place to peruse and purchase items to bring you and others joy.  With a majority of pieces being produced within Fluvanna, you know the items you purchase are created through the inspiration and care of your neighbors.  This one shop displays and supports artists across the mediums, and is constantly evolving it's collections.

FLUVANNA COUNTY CONTINUES TO MONITOR, PREPARE, AND ENCOURAGE CITIZEN AWARENESS REGARDING COVID-19

Fluvanna County Government, the Fluvanna Sheriff’s Office, and the Fluvanna County Public Schools, continue to monitor the rapidly evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation. Though there are no known cases in the County, Fluvanna continues to monitor and prepare. Residents are encouraged to consult available, credible resources to maintain awareness, and to observe healthy practices.

99. Immerse yourself in the heart of your community at the Fluvanna County Fair.

Enjoy the Fluvanna County Fair. Hosted each August.

98. Get a little energy from a cup of coffee or a friendly game of checkers.

Stocked with a fine selection of house roasted coffees, teas, and fresh baked treats, Cuppa Joe is the perfect place to relax in a comfee chair to read, or to meet up with friends. Also be sure to try their breakfast and lunch menu items. 

96. Trek alongside a new furry friend on a Llama Trek.

Enjoy a leisurely walk in the woods with a llama as your companion.  Ages 10+ (younger children may walk with an adult) are led on a guided 3 mile hike.

95. Enjoy a slice at Sal's in Fork Union.

Grab a pie or a slice at this family operated Fluvanna pizzeria and Italian restaurant. With an extensive menu of pizza favorites to pick from, it's easy to live by this restaurants motto: "who eats good eats Italian!"

94. Take a moment's pause at the various markers in Civil War Park.

Civil War Park includes monuments to Civil War soldiers and to the Emancipation Proclamation. Also in the park is a memorial to a Fluvanna resident who was killed in a Navy ship crash. The park contains picnic tables for a peaceful picnic. 1/2-acre with picnic tables, next to the Old Stone Jail Museum.

93. Harmonize with the Fluvanna Community Singers.

Admission free; no reserved seating. Check website for schedule of performances.

92. Get a ringer at the Ashlawn horseshoe pits.

Lake Monticello's horseshoe pits are located at the Ashlawn Clubhouse. Open to members and guests only.
