What is the Comprehensive Plan?

A Comprehensive Plan is a guide for a locality's future development. The Plan lays out a locality's vision for the future and outlines the goals to achieve that vision. The Plan also outlines ways to manage growth, protects what citizens think is special, and assists local officials with decision making. Public input is a crucial part of this process.
