Proudly serving the homeowners of Lake Monticello -  The Lake Monticello Department of Public Safety is made up of Police and Security.  The Police Department is a private police department established to provide supplemental law enforcement services to the residents of Lake Monticello

• For any police, fire, or medical emergency, dial 911
• For any non-emergency need for police, fire, or medical, call 434-589-8211. The Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office provides dispatch services for LMPD, fire, and rescue services. Do not call the Main Gate for On-Duty LMPD, emergencies, or medical assistance.  
• For the Main Gate Security, or to call in a guest, call the Main Gate at 434-589-3215. Do not call the Main Gate for emergencies, the Main Gate does not maintain a dispatch center.
