The Fluvanna County Board of Supervisors has recently learned that County residents have discovered white pride literature on their property and has issued the following statement:

Work began today, Friday, Jan 15, 2021, at Pleasant Grove Park in preparation for a planned Controlled Burn that will take place in February 2021. To prepare the area, fire lines are being created with bulldozers and will require the closure of the Birding Trail area, including the Birding Trail, as well as a meadow across from the playground.  More detailed information about the controlled burn project at  Pleasant Grove Park will be shared via FanMail, Facebook, County Websites, and the Fluvanna Review in the upcoming weeks. 

January 4 - Due to the rise in positivity rates we are returning to Curbside Pickup and Computers By Appointment Only. 

Please call with requests, concerns, questions and we will try to help you with curbside, online resources or over the phone. Curbside service will continue during all Library hours.

Computers By Appointment Only are available:

The Department of Wildlife Resources wants to alert customers of new legislation going into effect January 1, 2021.

Twenty-one schools across Virginia are reducing their carbon footprints by powering their operations with solar energy through a partnership between BrightSuite Solar, a subsidiary of Dominion Energy, and Sun Tribe. This partnership brings together two of Virginia’s leading renewable energy companies and their expertise in financing and installation to help school divisions meet their clean energy goals.
